Developer Meetup: Noida Chapter 7

On Sunday 20th December 2020, we concluded our Last Meetup for 2020 virtually. This event was one of its own kind as The ABC of ServiceNow joined us there and those are Andrew Barnes, Brad Tilton, and Chuck Tomasi. This event was also special for ServiceNow Noida Meetup as it has got first-ever dedicated website i.e. www.noidameetup.com as I said this is one of its own kind of meetup, the purpose of this website is not only to cater knowledge but also features the members who have already been presented since starting till now and also those who will be presenting in future. Better way networking not only for Noida region SN developers but for all SN developers around globe…this is like global application:).

The website went live with some cool features like content presented in meetup can easily be downloadable, event details along with adorable images can also be found and many more other features. Anyone from the community can contribute to the website with their content or volunteer for more responsibility to manage the website.
The session was divided into 3 parts:-

1. Q&A with ABC’s of ServiceNow
2. Website detailed explanation
3. Fun Quiz

Q&A was quite interactive and interesting as it lasts long for about 40 min, every other participant was loaded with their questions and they should be because they would be getting answers from Andrew Barnes, Chuck Tomasi, and Brad Tilton. I remember most of the question was around flow-designer like What is the best practices for Flow designer?, Is the transaction limit can easily be consumed? And some of them are around LDAP certificates. Kudos to all participants who effectively availed this opportunity and got their answer from best people of industry.

Andrew Barnes, Chuck Tomasi and Brad Tilton answered every other question with ton of examples and made everyone happy:).

Let’s move to 2nd part of the session i.e. detailed explanation of the website i.e. www.noidameetup.com, Akash was supposed to give a detailed walk-through of the website but due to some technical issues, Prabhat took over it and gave a detailed explanation. If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it, well said by Margaret Fuller. The main purpose or motto of this website is to cater knowledge to others and help them to grow and reach the sky-high. It is not restricted to Noida SN developers, it is for everyone around the globe because knowledge is meant to be shared.ServiceNow Noida Meetup provides an open platform for developers to share their knowledge, express their opinions, and present their content this helps the community to grow as well as for members who are part of this meetup. Our initiative has been appreciated by ABC’s as well as by participants that made our initiative successful.

Now move to 3rd and the last part of the session i.e. Fun Quiz, it was the most interactive and exciting part of the meetup. Why I am saying this because our guests Andrew Barnes, Chuck Tomasi, and Brad Tilton were also played quizzes with us. There were around 20 questions in the quiz and all were around guests and the latest ServiceNow acquired companies like Element AI, Parlo, and so on. The time limit that makes this quiz more exciting time limit per question was 20 sec that challenges them all to be on their toes to answer the questions. Arun was leading the quiz board initially, Kumar and Brad Tilton were on 2nd and 3rd respectively and Andrew, Chuck was in the top 10 on the quiz leader board.
Finally, Brad Tilton and Andrew Barnes ended with 1st and 2nd respectively. There was a close competition between Chuck and Arun and Arun won that and ended with 3rd Position and Chuck ended with 4th position.

As the tradition says we would be giving away prizes to the people who came next to you or won in non-legends capacity.
